  • Age and QPQ check out. A significant proportion of the article's text is quoted from its sources, but there are more than 1,500 characters of original text. The hook fact is cited in the article, although the photograph suffices. Lagrange613 21:57, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
  • Where is the hook fact cited in the article? It seems to be mentioned in the lead, but not cited. Is the cite supposed to be footnote 4? Yoninah (talk) 23:49, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
  • As Lagrange613 points out, much of the article is quotes. Not counting the long quote (which I put in a blockquote), the rest of the text scrapes by at only 1504 characters. Perhaps the page creator could add more refs/material? Also, the article is an orphan; no pages link to it. Yoninah (talk) 01:13, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
  • I have added more material. The section about the work's construction seemed adequate support for the hook and most of the sources confirm the simple nature of the work. I have added more such sources. Orphan status seems irrelevant as there is nothing which can be done to the page to change that and the point of DYK is to showcase this article and so draw attention to it. I'm still not entirely happy about the hook though as I feel that it ought to be wittier. I've added an ALT which may be better. Andrew (talk) 07:30, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
  • Thank you for the added material. I agree that the hook could be hookier. Maybe we can come up with something from the installation notes in footnote 7, although more text would have to be added to the article:
  • ALT2: ... that it took only three hours for installers to balance two rocks weighing nearly 30 tons each (pictured) by the new Serpentine Pavilion?
  • ALT3: ... that engineers of the Rock on Top of Another Rock installation (pictured) used lidar mapping and 3D models to determine how to balance the nearly 30-ton rocks without aid? Yoninah (talk) 23:26, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
  • I kind of like the original hook, it is eye-catching in its simplicity and a refreshing change from so many of our hooks which tend to highlight obscure facts. Gatoclass (talk) 04:11, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
