Romney Literary Society[edit]

Romney Literary Society historical marker

  • ... that with its 1819 foundation, the Romney Literary Society (historical marker pictured) became the first organization of its kind in present-day West Virginia, and one of the first in the U.S.?

  • The article is new enough and definitely long enough. The hook is cited multiple times to reliable sources, and although the copyvio detector is not working for this page it seems extremely unlikely that there are any copyvios here. Hook is cited and interesting, so this seems to be good to go. Everymorning talk 11:39, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
