Sakina Aliyeva[edit]

Created by SusunW (talk). Self-nominated at 16:59, 24 November 2018 (UTC).

Interesting life, on good sources, foreign sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. - In the hook, I'd prefer to have some idea of shich republic that was, but see the problem of that being long. Also, it takes long until we get there, - could you get first secession early? I read television, and still don't know what. Mention year? - I see that I request the impossible ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:12, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that in January 1990 the first declaration of independence from the USSR was signed and announced on Nakhichevan television by Sakina Aliyeva?
ALT2: ... that the Nakhichevan ASSR became the first republic to seceed from the USSR when Sakina Aliyeva signed a declaration of independence and announced it on television in January 1990?
Do either of these work better for you? Sorry about the delay, hip deep in a GA review process. SusunW (talk) 07:07, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
Thank you, both are excellent. I'd prefer ALT1 if we can wait until January, would be good for 1 January, as a symbol of independence and freedom. Or the precise date, in which case it should be added, and may need IAR if late in the month. If to appear soon, I'd prefer ALT2. Thank you for the qpq, quite a relief! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:00, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
