Overall: Firstly, I think you need to add an English translation of the text of the hymn. Secondly, there is no source for the text, and thirdly, I can't see a source confirming that this is an "Easter" hymn. Gatoclass (talk) 14:05, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for looking. The text is copyrighted. It's printed in the hymnal which I own, so that part, you'll have to accept on AGF basis. In the book, it's one of "Neue Osterlieder" which translates to "New Easter Hymns", so I'd say that's verifiable online, - I'll see to perhaps use the book for more detail, but have to jump right now. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:16, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
Back. I reviewed now Template:Did you know nominations/Benno Bikes. I used the book ref more, and it has two of the stanzas and the refrain. I found the text also in two recent web publications which I put in external links. Both quote the poem, though, so not refrain and stanzas, but the first stanza repeated at the end. I added one more setting, and another book reference to the melody, which mentions a model on p. 64, and has it (for the other hymn, GL 140) beginning p. 107. I am not at all sure about a translation of something copy-righted, and thought I better explain in prose, which I tried. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:02, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
Well actually, I meant just a translation of the refrain, which you've included in German. But on reflection, since you have some discussion about the meaning of the refrain, I think I will drop that suggestion. Anyway, the hook fact looks adequately sourced now, so there's no reason to hold this one up any longer. Gatoclass (talk) 22:39, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
