  • I haven't checked the article on Elsie, but I'm not convinced by a lot of the sources used in the one about Sydney. Specifically, I don't think the sources in footnotes 10, 17, 27, 34, and 42 are reliable. I haven't looked at all of the other footnotes.--Carabinieri (talk) 13:56, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm learning how to do DYK review, to address the first issue. With the regard to the second, my understanding is that you don't consider the Chelsfield Village Voice (footnote 10 above), which reported on a lecture given by a historian, to be reliable. How would an art gallery (footnote 17 above), British Listed Buildings which works in conjunction with English Heritage (footnotes 27 and 34 above), and the Local History and Archives Centre at Lewisham Library (footnote 42 above) be considered unreliable? Reviewed: Archaster typicus, my first article, to cover nomination for Sydney March. I have gone back through the article for Sydney March in detail today. I have added six more references, currently numbered: 22, 26, 27, 29, 46, 47. Of those six new references for Sydney March, four are English Heritage's National Heritage List for England. I will now go through Elsie March's article in detail again, and also finish reviewing my second article to cover Elsie. Thank you. Anne (talk) 22:19, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
I have reviewed two nominations: Template:Did you know nominations/Archaster typicus and Template:Did you know nominations/George Haggarty. In addition to revising Sydney March, I've gone back through Elsie March in detail, and I've added two additional references, now #28 and #29, both the National Heritage List for England.   • I guess I was wrong about 27 and 34. However, I still don't believe the Chelsfield Village Voice to be a reliable source. As far as I can tell it's just a community newsletter. Publications like that have little editorial oversight and therefore do not qualify as reliable sources. (See WP:RS). That art gallery appears to be a website selling works by the subject. That's not a reliable source.--Carabinieri (talk) 17:59, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Sydney March: I have eliminated the ref for David Cohen Fine Art by deleting the 1902 date for the studio opening. I have eliminated the Artfact ref by deleting all text related to his statue of Baden-Powell. I have also reduced reliance on the Village Voice by deleting several sentences.   • Thank you for letting me know that I didn't need reviews for these two articles. I'll use them for new articles instead. Also, I just went back through Elsie March again, and made changes similar to those that I made for the article on her brother Sydney this morning. I deleted the David Cohen Fine Art reference by eliminating the 1902 studio opening date. I also reduced reliance on the Village Voice by deleting several sentences of related text.
