- ... that the clown character Mombo was created for The Dr. Max Show after being blamed for an off-stage noise? Source: "Early in the show's run, an off-stage noise accidentally carried over the microphone. New enough and long enough. QPQ present. I'll have some technical suggestions on newspaper clippings but not for here — will message in a bit. I did have to add some more context to the first sentence, and I'd consider adding , a children's TV show in Iowa,
to ALT0 after the title; if I landed on this at random article search, I'd be a bit clueless. I don't have access to the excellent-looking Making Waves, so I will AGF on the offline source.
