Tjörnin[edit]

Tjörnin

  • ... that Tjörnin (pictured) has been poetically referred to as "the biggest bread soup in the world"?

  • There has been some good work put in here, but it's not quite long enough yet. Before the expansion, the article had 689 characters of prose, meaning a fivefold expansion would be at least 3,445 characters, give or take a few characters. However, the character count of the current article is only at about 2,980 characters. So you would need to add an additional 460 or more characters (which is about half of my entire comment). Another problem is with the image. It not only needs to be an image used in the article, but that image is only about 25% of the lake; I'd recommend using the infobox image which gives a better representation of the lake itself. I realize the hook tries to make the connection between the geese and the bread, but this doesn't really come across as obvious. Another issue is with the hook itself; the article doesn't explicitly say the line came from a poem, unlike the hook, so the hook or article would have to be rewritten so they are in line with each other.-- 06:05, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
  • The article has been expanded by >460 ch; I think it is ok now. The duck img had been in the article when I nomed it, but it was subsequently removed; however, I agree a picture showing more of the lake would be an improvement as the article is about a lake, so I've added the infobox img to this nom. Also, I've reworded the "bread" sentence in the article to better capture what the source says and to better match the hook's wording. --Rosiestep (talk) 02:20, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
