Torture during the 2011–2012 Bahraini uprising[edit]

  • Comment: This article had CV problem before, now resolved. I have less than 5 DYK credits

Created/expanded by Bahraini Activist (talk). Self nom at 17:15, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Article no longer has problematic picture in it. Hook is properly formatted.
  • Article was nominated on March 5. If we are giving writing credit, it really, really should include User:Moonriddengirl because Template:Did you know nominations/Torture during the 2011–2012 Bahraini uprising shows a fail for the article based on copyright violations. User:Moonriddengirl came in and did a fantastic job fixing those problems on 5 March 2012, when the article was renominated (but NOT re-expanded). I'm rather confident she fixed all the plagiarism problems and that the sources support the text because copyright is her speciality.
  • Hook text says "that at least five people died ". The source text says "The Commission finds that five persons died as a result of torture.502". I would remove "at least".
Because this is supported by the source and by the count of people. At least is a weasel word implying more when the source does not say that.

If User:Moonriddengirl is given credit for DYK making here for her heroic efforts in fixing this, ALT1 is used to align with the source and another person believes previous issues have been adequately addressed, I'm willing to give it a tick. --LauraHale (talk) 06:32, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Keep "at least", other source [1] say more were killed by torture. User:Moonriddengirl did a great job by closing the CV problem. Mohamed CJ (talk) 09:00, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
