Hi, coming back to promote this, but neither hook seems particularly hooky. While all typhoons cause damage, maybe there's something in all those statistics to make this one stand out? Please also see my editing on the lead; the way it was written looked like some kind of typo. Yoninah (talk) 19:38, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

@Yoninah: Cleared one thing up in the lead. With regards to those statistics, there's really nothing record breaking in them. I added an ALT2 hook, but honestly, I'd just go with ATL1 here, given that I've used those types of hooks at DYK before, and given the large number of typhoons Okinawa gets, it's kinda significant.
