Overall: Good to go with main or ALT1 hook Hawkeye7 (discuss) 10:28, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

@Cwmhiraeth: I noticed you moved the hook to Prep 2 but placed it in a middle spot, without the image. Was this an accidental oversight? Both of the hooks were approved with images. Bilorv(c)(talk) 11:05, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
@Bilorv: Many more hooks are nominated to DYK with an image than it is possible to promote to the image slots. In this case, the article was about an episode of a TV series and although relevant to the hook, the image was peripheral to the episode. So it was not an accidental oversight but an encyclopedic decision. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:50, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
@Cwmhiraeth: okay, I empathise with this problem, but the hook has been sitting here for (almost) a full month – I presume the reason is that admins have been waiting for an open lead slot to put it in. It seems quite unfair to leave the hook for a month and then dump it in a middle slot anyway when without the image, it would probably have taken at most a week to be sent to a prep. This is my first time submitting an image hook and I won't waste my time with it in future if it's going to cause a delay and then be ignored anyway. Bilorv(c)(talk) 13:16, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
If you look at the pink box titled "Count of DYK Hooks" at the top of the DYK nominations page you will currently see 292 hooks of which 146 have been reviewed. We are running one set of 8 hooks per day at the moment so it will take about 18 days to work through the approved hooks. Your nomination was reviewed promptly but has had to wait its turn.
