William Thompson (Medal of Honor, 1950)[edit]

  • Looks a well organized, well structured and cited article, picture is free license, hook is supported by Kinshasa, Kwando M. (2006), African American chronology: chronologies of the American mosaic and is copyvio checked. I'm sorry to say that but it hardly meets the 5x expansion requirement as 6582 character without spaces are short compared to the 1566 pre-July 11 status. It needs a further 1300 characters (without spaces). I would say the guideline backfires in this very case, but that does not come within my sphere to overrule it. I added some contextual stuff. Should be the right size now. —Ed!(talk) 23:07, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
Size meets requirements Green tickY. Still I'd recommend rephrasing this line:"Some sources say Thompson decided to join the United States Army as an opportunity to escape poverty. Other sources say he was drafted." Although it has reference links, since it says "sources" twice and there is actually one-one source attached it tend to be a WP:WEASEL, and suggests there are plenty of other sources with the same opinion out there. Let's just rewrite it, shall we? Otherwise great work I must add. Lajbi Holla @ meCP 10:33, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
