Yasser Salihee[edit]

Soldiers peer into the car of Yasser Salihee, journalist and doctor, after his death in Baghdad in 2006.

  • ... that Iraqi journalist and doctor Yasser Salihee (pictured), killed during the Iraq War, sometimes interrupted his reporting to treat wounded civilians in Baghdad?
  • ALT1:… that journalist and doctor Yasser Salihee used some of his patients in Baghdad as sources for his news articles?
  • ALT2:… that journalist and doctor Yasser Salihee (pictured) sometimes interrupted his reporting to treat wounded civilians in Baghdad?

  • This article is new enough and long enough. ALT1 is appropriately cited and I have struck the other two hooks (the article does not refer specifically to wounded civilians). I do not think the image should be used - it does not show Yasser Salihee, but instead shows the car in which he was travelling when he was shot. I think this is Darouet's fourth DYK so no QPQ review is needed. No policy violations found. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:58, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
