Template usage notes
- Standard usage: {{subst:FLRCMessage|NAME OF ARTICLE|LINK TO FAR SUBPAGE}}
- This template takes two parameters. The first is the name of the article that has been nominated. The second is optional and is the link to the list's subpage on Wikipedia:Featured list removal candidates. If the second parameter is not given then the review page will default to Wikipedia:Featured list removal candidates/NAME OF ARTICLE. For example:
- {{subst:FLRCMessage|List of popes}}
- gives
- I have nominated List of popes for featured list removal. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured list criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks; editors may declare to "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here.

- gives
