This template is used by List of football clubs in France

Produces a line describing a French club
- Parameters
- short_w — Wikipedia page for the club, generally the club short name
- short (optional) — Club short name, if different from the Wikipedia page
- category (optional) — "+" if a dedicated category exists for the club
- full — Club full name
- town_w — Wikipedia page for the town, generally the club town
- town (optional) — Club town, if different from the Wikipedia page
- dept_w — Wikipedia page for the French department, generally the club French department
- dept (optional) — Club French department, if different from the Wikipedia page
- men1 (optional), men2 (optional), men3 (optional) — league in which the men senior, reserve and third teams play, must be one of the following:
- L1, L2 or N for Ligue 1, Ligue 2 or National
- CFA1A, CFA1B, CFA1C, CFA1D for CFA, group A, B, C or D
- CFA2A, CFA2B, CFA2C, CFA2D, CFA2E, CFA2F, CFA2G, CFA2H for CFA2, group A, B, C, D, E, F, G or H
- D for a defunct club
- L for a lower league club
- women1 (optional), women2 (optional) — league in which the women senior and reserve teams play, must be one of the following:
- D1 for Division 1
- D2A, D2B for Division 2, group A or B
- D3A, D3B, D3C, D3D for Division 3, group A, B, C or D
- D for a defunct club
- L for a lower league club
