Usage[edit]

Resolves a Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU or OJ) number to the permalink in the EUR-Lex database by prepending https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/ALL/?uri=uriserv:

This template uses {{Catalog lookup link}} as its base. It supports a list of up to 9 OJ numbers. It may be used in the id= parameter of Citation Style 1/{{Citation}}. The parameter leadout= can be used for to add a conjunction to the final number in the list. For example:

{{OJEU|OJ.C_.2015.326.01.0012.01.ENG|OJ.C_.2015.326.01.0012.01.ENG|OJ.C_.2015.326.01.0012.01.ENG|leadout=and}} produces:

OJEU OJ.C_.2015.326.01.0012.01.ENG, OJ.C_.2015.326.01.0012.01.ENG and OJ.C_.2015.326.01.0012.01.ENG

Formatting:

  • year: 4 digits (yyyy)
  • OJ number: 3 digits (xxx)
  • OJ series with a capital letter: [excerpt from WP article begins:]
    • The L series (= Legislation) contains EU legislation including regulations, directives, decisions, recommendations, and opinions.
    • The C series (= Courts) contains reports and announcements including the judgments of the European Court of Justice and the General Court (formerly known as the Court of First Instance).
    • The S series (= Supplement) contains invitations to tender for public contracts, along with other notices issued by the European Development Fund and other agencies.
