Template:Power of 10 displays an external link to an athlete's profile at the Power of 10 website (thepowerof10.info). It is intended for use in the external links section of an article.

The "id" parameter (or unnamed parameter "1") should contain the ID portion of the URL. Example: 962 is the ID in https://www.thepowerof10.info/athletes/profile.aspx?athleteid=962. This parameter is optional if Wikidata property P2090 exists, but required if not.

The "name" parameter (or unnamed parameter "2") may be used to specify the link text, which should be the name of the athlete. This parameter is optional; it defaults to the Wikipedia article name, without any disambiguation such as "(athlete)".

Instructions[edit]

  1. Go to Power of 10 and search for the athlete.
  2. Click on the correct link to go to the person's page. Be sure you're getting the right person.
  3. The page URL should look like:
    https://www.thepowerof10.info/athletes/profile.aspx?athleteid=####
    where #### indicates a number.
  4. Add the following to the article's external links section:
    {{Power of 10|####|Name}}
    where #### is the number from the URL and Name is the athlete's name.
