{{Ranking movements}} may be used to track team ranking movements for a variety of sports.

Usage

The template may be added by pasting the template as shown below into an article and then filling in the desired fields. Any parameters left blank will not be displayed.

Parameters

Parameter	Explanation
poll1title poll2title poll3title poll4title poll5title	The poll title. Poll title should link to article on poll when possible. Required for each poll you want to show.
poll1firstweek poll2firstweek poll3firstweek poll4firstweek poll5firstweek	First week of poll results. No less than 0. Optional, but required for automatic cell coloring to work
poll1lastweek poll2lastweek poll3lastweek poll4lastweek poll5lastweek	Last week of poll results. No more than 20. The longest poll must be either poll1 or poll2. Optional
poll1_0 poll2_0 poll3_0 poll4_0 poll5_0	Pre-season poll results. Polls should always be recorded as numerical numbers rather than text numbers. References are allowed after the numerical number but a space between the ranking and reference is required. Optional
poll1_1 poll2_1 poll3_1 poll4_1 poll5_1 poll1_2 poll2_2 poll3_2 poll4_2 poll5_2 etc.	Poll results. Polls should always be recorded as numerical numbers rather than text numbers. References are allowed after the numerical number but a space between the ranking and reference is required. Use NR for "not ranked" which is transformed to — in the output display. Optional
poll1_final poll2_final ...	Poll results. Used for recording a poll result for the final week when poll results are not released for prior weeks (e.g., see soccer rankings). Optional
