Template:User relationship status

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
?User relationship status is keeping its status to itself.

Purpose[edit]

Intended as a generic utilitarian relationship status indicator. It doesn't imply any cultural traditions (like rings do) or, by default, love (like hearts do).

Usage[edit]

This userbox uses {{#titleparts:}} so that, when in userspace, the correct username will be displayed. Even on subpages. All you need to do is put {{User relationship status}} on one of your pages.

Parameters are sex (m/f/n, default undisclosed), status (celibate/single/infatuated/unmarried/unmarried2/singleagain/courting/engaged/married/poly/separated/divorced/widowed/complicated, default undisclosed), with (m/f/n, default opposite of yourself), and love (−2–5, default 0, with 5 using newer emoji that may not display universally). Negative values for love make the most sense with singleagain, separated, and divorced statuses, if the relationship ended on a sour note. (Being heartbroken does not necessarily mean sour feelings.) Positive values can also be used for them if it ended amicably. A positive love value used with celibate and single statuses may be unusual, but could mean the user is happy with the situation.
