Since you've shown some interest in editing topics related to Mauritius, we hope you'll stay and add content to Mauritius related articles. Mauritian topics are generally under represented on Wikipedia and you can help counter this imbalance by becoming a regular contributor and by joining WikiProject Mauritius which is a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles relevant to Mauritius.

Without substitution of this template (or its short versions), features of the template will not work correctly.
- Use to welcome new editors and provide links to useful information spread out across Wikipedia.
- To add the default version to a user's talk page, write
{{subst:Welcome-Mauritius}}. To see how it works, transclude it in various forms to your own talk page or sandbox. - Can be given to IP or registered users. If given to an IP user, the content changes to advise the user to create an account, pointing out a few of the benefits.
- An extra message can be appended to the welcome message. If desired, include your message as the first parameter, using a pipe (
