Need source...[edit]

Hello all...

Here in super six, points table shows all teams had played 2 matches each, but they didn't played a single match. How can we update like this?

Any source? 2405:204:6603:E576:5DF4:A1BA:EF87:4F06 (talk) 17:31, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Teams carry forward their results from the group stage (against the other teams who also made it through). I've not seen a table yet so it is a bit ORish at present (especially the NRR Spike 'em (talk) 21:53, 12 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Spike 'em: so then if they played some matches we can kept these points or ignore these points. If we got points table for Super Six, in the table, if table shows only super six points, then what we do?
The ICC has finally added a Super-6 table to its standings page which matches this page (except for UAE NRR in the 3rd decimal place). The next set of games has started, so further updates will be done later. THe only results carried forward are those ones between teams in the Super 6. The tables for the qualifying groups remain unchanged. Some games count in both tables. Spike 'em (talk) 10:53, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Spike 'em: , finally you says, we can only insert the points for Super 6 matches only, and remove all these point which were carried forward points, when teams got, new super 6 points... 2405:204:6429:5B6A:3AA1:C61B:95BD:255F (talk) 14:58, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, check the link from the ICC: all carried forward games are included in this table. WI v Ire; WI v UAE; Ire v UAE; Sco v Afg; Zim v Sco; Zim v Afg results are all carried forward and correctly included in the table. Spike 'em (talk) 15:27, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Zimbabwe Still not eliminated[edit]

If match between Afghanistan & Ireland is tied, then Zimbabwe will be qualified, In case of no result, Ireland will be qualified. In ESPNcricinfo commentary page, this is mentioned.

6.13pm Another crazy encounter, another finish that went down to the wire. Zimbabwe are out - well, they could still qualify if tomorrow's game is a low-scoring tie, but the chances of that are way too low. Effectively tomorrow's game is a knockout for a spot in the 2019 World Cup. The winner goes through, the loser goes home. Zimbabwe will hope for a miraculous tie.
