CITEVAR[edit]

@Jts1882: Would your agree that the template should allow alternative citation sytles? Boghog (talk) 16:42, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there is a module version in the sandbox. Check the edit I made at Lucifuga. It uses another template that uses the same module, which if I have things right should be fully compliant with the citation templates and take different citation modes and parameter overrides when necessary. —  Jts1882 | talk  20:33, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Check needed[edit]

Please check Anacanthobythites + Diplacanthopoma + Hephthocara which are showing "Lua error in Module:FishRef at line 18: attempt to concatenate field 'searchStr' (a nil value)." Johnuniq (talk) 03:57, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Johnuniq: Fixed. This template doesn't use |id=. It must specify |spid= or |genid=. I'm in the process of updating this suite of templates to a Lua module version so errors are showing up when they were transparent before. I'll add a check for this error. —  Jts1882 | talk  10:05, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Johnuniq (talk) 22:43, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
