Turkey in Europe ????[edit]

Import from Template talk:Hospital beds by country	Don't mean to be nitpicking but the last time i checked (i.e. rn) Turkey was almost entirely situated in Asia. That's why the region between the Mediterranean and the Black Sea is also referred to as 'Asia minor'. Cf., i.a., https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey / Not intending to discuss whether it's politically or culturally closer to Europe than to e.g. Buthan - 'tis Joggraffy, right? ; ) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.73.107.27 (talk) 23:16, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply] Hi, don't know your true purpose of bringing this up but, geographically Turkey is on Both Europe and Asia. Almost 20% of Turkey's population live in European side of Turkey. Actually the most significant cultural centers (Historic peninsula of Istanbul), largest city (Istanbul), and most populous region (Marmara Region) are located in Europe. ^[1] Having said that, being Asian is much cooler these days, so no one would mind if you change it to Asia ;) 151.135.84.34 (talk) 11:58, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
