Other information I'd like from the instructor[edit]
@Sage (Wiki Ed): Adding these suggestions. We don't have to add these, but it would give us some useful data.
- email address (could be optional, if it's a privacy concern, but we really need contact info for instructors)
- Teaching Assistant's contact info (optional. Is there a TA supporting the course? What is the TA's name/Wikipedia username/email address?)
- If we'd rather not specify TA, we could ask them if there's someone at the university who will be supporting the student editors. This gives us contact info for librarian/technologist/TA/student/etc.)
- Have you taught with Wikipedia before?
- How did you first hear about the Wikipedia Education Program? (can give us helpful info on where our outreach is effective)

- User:Jami (Wiki Ed): I'll have to think about that. It sounds like most or all of this information is stuff that Wiki Ed program managers need, but that isn't directly relevant to the assignment design process or the process of requesting instructor rights. In that case, it might make sense for our system to collect this info and send it directly to Wiki Ed. To me, this makes more sense as part of the (future) course page system (where the instructor could update that info at any time, but it wouldn't necessarily be visible to anyone but that instructor and Wiki Ed).--Sage (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:09, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Disable category[edit]
Can we have an option to disable the categories? We really don't need drafts like User:Sage (Wiki Ed)/university of poo/Golden pile of poo (summer 2015) to populate themselves into Category:Dashboard.wikiedu.org courses, university of poo or Category:Dashboard.wikiedu.org courses, Wiki Ed. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 02:06, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
