Wording[edit]

This notice currently only states the fact that there is a discussion concerning the editor. May be it should also invite the editor ("Your input would be very appreciated")? Or may be it should even note the importance of participation ("To help making Wikipedia better in a small step of resolving this particular dispute. Your input is {{{input status|valuable}}} for our success.")? — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 20:12, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's a very good idea, actually. When I created it I just copied and pasted the wording from {{AN-notice}}, but there's no reason we can't make the DRN template message a little bit more inviting to the involved parties. Have a go at updating the template, and we'll see if people like it. Best — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 20:21, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I added two sentences. Someone with better language skills could dramatically improve the wording though. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 21:19, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a graphic (a Peacedove logo designed for the noticeboard) the participation guide (collapsed) and added a line about reviewing it. I corrected a small error of spacing that cused the bots sig to go out of alignment. My bad. sorry.--Amadscientist (talk) 04:25, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about my April 5th edit[edit]

Sorry about my April 5th edit. I was intending to simply remove the notice from my talk page and I must have somehow accidentally opened up the template instead. Thanks to User:TransporterMan for catching it and fixing it. North8000 (talk) 17:46, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Same here -- I opened the page by mistake, made an edit, tried to revert it, but apparently didn't eliminate all my changes. Thanks TransporterMan! JerryRussell (talk) 20:40, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Spacing Issue[edit]

When including the "topic" parameter in the template substitution, there is no space between "The discussion" and the period prior. --JustBerry (talk) 16:56, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
