@Theleekycauldron: does this template work? --evrik (talk) 02:07, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@evrik: it does! I didn't really know whether this was something people wanted to have happen, so I held off – but yeah, I have all the tallies, if this was something to start. theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 02:13, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Theleekycauldron: Hmmmmm ... If this gets started, who will give it out? I always worry about great ideas that fall by the wayside. Why not just give out a barnstar? If you go with this, maybe just limit it to one or the other option. If you bring it live, please add it to Wikipedia:Did you know/Awards. --evrik (talk) 02:20, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@evrik I mean, I think anyone can? I would truly love it if it was awarded by the previous promoter of the month, but I think I can kick us off. Will add to DYK/Awards :) theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 02:23, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Theleekycauldron: Yeah, add to the instructions that the current awardee has to give it out next month. --evrik (talk) 02:25, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@evrik: the instructions in the template, or at /Awards? theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 02:27, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Theleekycauldron: Wherever its easier. Probably on Wikipedia:Did you know/Awards. --evrik (talk) 02:29, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Instructions[edit]

I think the template instructions need some expansion. I don't think it's clear what makes the template go between one version and the other. --evrik (talk) 02:30, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
