  • Since every city with a dam has a tallest dam, how about:
ALT1: ... that although construction of the Fukuji Dam was begun by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Japanese government was responsible for its completion? Rcej (Robert)talk 05:48, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm okay with ALT1, but it maybe better if the second half is simply "it was completed by the Japanese government?" as the Japanese government could have chosen to abandon the project. --PFHLai (talk) 09:41, 30 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
