Requested move 30 January 2018[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: not moved. All for making template names more suggestive of what they do; however, present users of this template don't seem to have a problem with it, and as the nom suggests, there could be a big challenge just figuring out where the "very ambiguous" old name should redirect (if not to the new name). Template:DisplayTemplate:Display during – Current name is very ambiguous: there are thousands of templates relating to display. This template should have a name that's more suggestive of its actual function. The name "Template:Display" should redirect to something more appropriate, maybe {{tl}}. —swpbT go beyond 15:29, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
