Request[edit]

Hey, can someone please change the Number parameter | style="text-align: right;" | to | style="text-align: center;" | so the number is centered. Kante4 (talk) 17:23, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The 5th competitions collums are being shown with dark background when should be white. Can be easily corrected removing " background:#F0F0F0;" from behind the "{{{10}}}" on the source code. Thanks. A.Caseiro (talk) 16:10, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Flag variants[edit]

Is it possible to use flag variants within this template? I can't figure it out if so! Thanks WilliamF1two (talk) 19:39, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jonesey95: I don't know if this something you would know about? Thanks WilliamF1two (talk) 16:18, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
 Done and documented. – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:03, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible to make it so that, when ordering apps, 5+5 is above, say, 6+1? The "Total" column understands that "5+5=10", so why isn't it possible for the individual competition column to be sorted by the total amount of games, not by the total apps as a starter. @Jonesey95: Great! One thing: it seems that, for example, 9+2 is ordered above 11 (or 7+4 above 8+3). Is it possible to do it so that it is first ordered by the total amount (7+4>8+1), and then, if both are equal, by the first number (8+3>7+4>6+5)? Nehme1499 (talk) 02:11, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Probably, but that is beyond my skill level and interest. – Jonesey95 (talk) 02:13, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As per WikiProject discussion (where I have asked for consensus but had no response since doing so, although I find it difficult to see how it could be successfully argued against), the nationality field needs to be amended please. It currently links to the country itself, when in this context it should be the national football team association/federation (as clearly indicated in the wording of the template guidelines). The current format breaks both the general rule on linking to nations, and also the flag rule of displaying the icon without a label. To solve both issues I would utilise whatever has been used for Template:Football squad start which displays the three-digit code beside the flag and links to the teams association/federation rather than the country. Thanks. Crowsus (talk) 01:28, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not everyone plays international football. I think linking to the FAs is better. Nehme1499 09:37, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That should be argued/changed on Football Squad too then for consistency, essentially this is a more detailed version of that. Crowsus (talk) 09:48, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
{{Fs player}} links to the FA. Nehme1499 09:51, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So it does, apologies. I've struck the above on NT and changed it to FA. Crowsus (talk) 10:20, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
