Coloring event cell by type? Also silver and bronze?[edit]

Would it be possible to color the event-type cell on each row by type of event, using the color scheme perpetuated by the old event logos (green for Grands Prix, blue for Pro Tours, red for Nationals and Worlds)? Also, would it be possible to add silver coloring for second-place finishes and bronze for third? CJ Miller [T]/[C] 09:51, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It would be some work, but both would be possible. However, I do not think it is desirable to color-code any finishes beyond wins. Most people only care about top 8s in Magic anyway, giving just minor credit to the distinction between 1st and 8th place, but when they do make any disinction for top 8 finishes, then it is first and other. Note that we also only distinguish wins and top 8s on the individiual player pages. Color coding events would be easy, too, and while I don't think it is strictly necessary it makes much more sense to me. OdinFK (talk) 11:50, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
