Creation[edit]

I made the original article/template as one of my subpages but since I was the only to edit it (probably no-one knew about it) the history didn't need to be carried over. Any improvements are very welcome, however at the moment (this could be and probably will be subject to change):

  • The template shows cars (datewise) when they entered production, they may have been produced across the date gap but they are only listed in the earlier era.
  • New models of the car are only re-listed when there is a significant change, ie. effectively a new model.

Of course these are not rules, they are just what I followed when making the template but if you intend to change the template layout (conflicting with these) please say so here to prevent confusion. James086 13:01, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Vehicles[edit]

I removed the vehicles:

because I don't see them ever getting articles and the red links just make the template unsightly. There just don't seem to be enough sources for any depth of information much further than the fact that they existed. If someone does write an article on any of these cars please re-add them to the template. James086 Talk | Contribs 03:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The big "MASERATI" name[edit]

Is the enormous, spaced, AND serifed MASERATI name at the top all that necessary? It's just taking up space and incongruous anyway. 218.186.9.3 03:44, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I came here to see if there was any discussion on that. Being bold... If anyone has a serious problem with the change, feel free to revert but please discuss it further. Kafziel Talk 19:21, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maserati link color[edit]

Does anyone know how to make the Maserati link at the top white? It would go better with the color scheme.~ Dusk Knight 01:15, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean change the colour of the grey band across the top of the box, or just the (linked) word "Maserati"? I know how to change the colour of the grey band but I think the colour of the (linked) word "Maserati" might be controlled by each individual user's Windows setup. I mean the linked word Maserati. I know you can customize link colors using CSS in userboxes but everything I've tried here just makes the code visible which is no good. Oh well, it's not a big deal I just thought it would look nicer in white (similar to the color scheme of the Maserati website).~ Dusk Knight 22:38, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I tried several things (including substituting the header template) but I also make the code visible. That said, I'm not great at template coding. James086Talk | Email 23:43, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Template:Alfa Romeo F1 manages to have the title text in black. Perhaps we can borrow some ideas from there (I tried, but also ended up with visible code...) Maybe we should try the Help Desk? DH85868993 03:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
How does it look like now--— Typ932T | C  07:22, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It looks good to me. James086Talk | Email 09:00, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good and it's easier to see too. ~ Dusk Knight 05:18, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
