Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

Template:Match in progress → Template:current-sport-inline — This is essentially an inline version of {{current sport}}, so should be moved to a title with "inline" in it. As not all sports use events called matches, this would make it clearer. This just indicates that the current line/table cell will be updated soon or frequently, serving the same purpose as current-sport in an inline manner. 65.93.15.213 (talk) 05:05, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If a sport doesn't call it a match (say it calls it a game, or it's instead about a tournament) it would allow usage in a greater number of sports without the idiosyncraticness of the name. I believe that this template should be deleted as it is causing to much hassle with users using in progress to update live scores which isn't for wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a live scoring site. Skyblueshaun (talk) 13:52, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
