Line breaks[edit]

{{Editprotected}}

Can the line breaks be removed from the following part, as this causes the next word to start on a new line. See Template:Red for how it should be.

Change this:

<span style="color:purple">{{{1}}}</span>

<noinclude>
==== Usage ====
 My <nowiki>&#123;&#123;purple|color&#125;&#125;</nowiki> text.
Produces:<br/>
&nbsp;&nbsp;My {{purple|color}} text.
[[Category:text color templates]]
</noinclude>

To this:

<span style="color:purple">{{{1}}}</span><noinclude>

<!-- Add categories and interwikis to the /doc subpage, not here! -->
{{Documentation}}</noinclude>

I've modified your request to be a bit more specific. Plus, I've also added that the {{Documentation}} template be added in replace of the usage as I've created a documentation page over at Template:Purple/doc. If this template remains protected, then you will at least be able to always edit the documentation at any time. Categories and interwiki can be added to the documentation subpage, which will be automatically included as part of the template itself. --Lightsup55 ( T | C ) 17:16, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
