Pseudo documentation[edit]

This page contained the following documentation ("=" for headings changed to "-"):

--Usage--
---Function---
This template generates a link to all subpages of the page it is placed on, using Special:Prefixindex. It is mainly intended for WikiProjects or users wanting to track their subpages in an easy and convenient way.
---Parameters---
This template does not require any parameters; "{{subpages}}" generates "all subpages of this page". The label of the link is an optional parameter; "{{subpages|optional label}}" generates "optional label".

  • {{list subpages}} (list subpages on the page, or list other subpages given a namespace or prefix)

I created a proper documentation subpage and copied the preceding content there. -- Tomdo08 (talk) 00:21, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion[edit]

Perhaps we could change the code to use the code that my subpages personal template uses, since mine, even though mine isnt that complex, has more options, while still making all of them optional. If we did use my code for this, it will need some edits to make sure that the pages this template is already used on will still work the same. LikeLakers2 (talk) 12:54, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
