Please don't link to dab pages![edit]

Hi. This template automatically creates a link to English. Unfortunately, that page is a dab page. Please change this template (I would if I knew how) to create the link as [[English language|English]] instead. Thanks. --Tkynerd 16:53, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. Fixing the template was easier than I thought, and I verified that the change worked on the page (Tokusatsu) that was giving me trouble. --Tkynerd 16:55, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How?[edit]

Doesn't seem to explain how to add template to article. Peter jackson (talk) 14:37, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing instructions[edit]

I hope this feedback is helpful:

  • The instructions say (in a box with an "i" graphic) "This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:TranslatePassage}}).", but later say "This template should be transcluded, not {{subst:}}ed." before immediately saying "Example: {{subst:Translate passage|ArticleName|language=LanguageName}} ~~~~"
  • Also that last example indicates that the substituted template should be signed, which is not appropriate if this template is to be added at the head of an article.
