This template is way too large. I'm making it a bit smaller. X [Mac Davis] (DESK|How's my driving?) 19:42, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Still too large. Far too many non-articles listed in here. Templates are for aiding in navigation. All non-articles should be removed or routed to appropriate sections of existing articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.149.45.52 (talk) 22:01, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Struck out entries

Is there some reason why a couple of the links in this navbox are struck out? I've never seen this style before and I question whether it's accepted practice.- MrX 17:48, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

Entries without Wikipedia articles

This template is filled with names of people lacking Wikipedia articles. Should they be removed? My understanding is that navboxes are for displaying Wikipedia articles only. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:40, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

Yes, that's generally the case. The sole purpose of a navbox is for navigating between articles. If they aren't links to articles or at the very worst, redlinks for articles that are incredibly likely to deserve an article, then the text should be removed. See WP:EXISTING and WP:NAVBOX. --Rob Sinden (talk) 12:11, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

Not sure this article can be squeezed in anywhere... ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:13, 20 July 2016 (UTC)

Looks like 'Trump Vitamins' were a thing

Looks like he really did have a vitamin company; certainly a notable element was using a urine test to customize the vitamins. (@Frmorrison:) tedder (talk) 19:51, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

I didn't check for Trump Vitamins, but I see that it is real. However, a template should only list things that have articles. There is not one about it. --Frmorrison (talk) 00:04, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
No question- I am AGF on this, just wanted to leave a breadcrumb here in case someone's interested. tedder (talk) 01:44, 9 September 2016 (UTC)

Grand Hyatt New York

Trump no longer owns The Grand Hyatt New York; he sold his share to Hyatt in 1996. However, given that it was one of Trump's first and notable ventures into real estate, I am not sure whether to remove the Grand Hyatt from the list of notable properties. Any idea how to do this?--Joshua Talk to me What I've done? 18:14, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

@Joshua: Maybe add a dagger symbol† with a footnote explaining this is a former property. May apply to others (the casinos come to mind). — JFG talk 00:08, 10 November 2016 (UTC)

Splitting template

This template is way too long, as noted in other discussions, e.g. Talk:Donald Trump#Adding a Presidential Template for Trump. Now split into three templates: {{Trump family}}, {{Trump businesses}} and {{Trump presidency}}. Please help with assigning the right template(s) to each relevant article before demoting the old generic {{Trump}} template. — JFG talk 02:23, 12 November 2016 (UTC)
