good work, although I would suggest you include the full names of the clubs (eg Fintona Pearses, Omagh St. Endas) as opposed to simply the parish names? Just for completeness.

Also, what does it mean at the top by 'Affiliated clubs', is there enough un-affiliated clubs to make this neccessary?

Cheers--Macca7174 12:00, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I reckon that the short club names are fine, near enough everyone refers to their home club by their location in Tyrone with two exceptions (1) The clubs Owen Roes O'Neills and Clann na nGael which don't refer to any particular location, (2) The "urban" clubs tend to be referred to by their members by their club name rather than location e.g. The Sigersons, The Clarkes, though anyone who refers to them as Strabane and Dungannon respectively doesn't cause any confusion. Plus all fixtures, tables etc. published by the Tyrone County Board use the short names of the clubs.
As for "affiliated clubs", just more of a title than anything else, but it could be removed without much complaint. Lawhec 17:57, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Good work affiliated clubs is fine its used {{Kildare clubs}} {{Dublin AFL Division 1 Clubs}} and if it's removed here it should be removed across all templates which would need to be discussed at WP:GAA first (Gnevin 14:33, 5 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Fair enough, (about short club names) may I suggest you create the namespaces in the template, (eg [[Dungannon Clarkes|Dungannon]]) because some people (ie me) do not know the full names of the clubs, and therefore would not be able to create the namespaces correctly if I were to start articles on the clubs, or link from player's infoboxes.--Macca7174 11:24, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
