Vancouver[edit]

Vancouver to Kaloomps[edit]

Passing stops vs. full stops[edit]
Hi, I was looking at making this template more accurate by distinguishing the passing stops ("42" on the VIA timetable) vs. the full stops. However, it seems like adding the "p" modifier breaks the code at Foleyet and the eastbound-only sections between Vancouver and Kamloops North. Any ideas? Former routing[edit]
@Cards84664: Thank you for your contributions. I must say, however, that these additions have taken an already-long template and made it even longer, to the point of it being almost unreadable. The former routing of the Canadian is already well explained in the article itself. Such templates should be short and easily read - the history lesson can be in the body of the article, wouldn't you agree? 162 etc. (talk) 16:33, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

- I oppose such a removal due to a lack of context, as unfamiliar readers would not be aware of differences between track and service, or where the two overlap (i.e. Portage la Prairie) but I do agree that collapsible sections would be useful, and I will work on their implementation.
