Summary of Video games WikiProject open tasks:

Alternate style[edit]

An alternate style which I reverted can be found here. SharkD (talk) 10:42, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WiiWare[edit]

Should WiiWare be listed separately from the Wii? SharkD (talk) 17:22, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

32X[edit]

I'm considering changing the 32X code (Sega 32X) to S32X. SharkD (talk) 03:28, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. SharkD (talk) 20:43, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

CROSS[edit]

I'm also considering changing CROSS to CRØSS. SharkD (talk) 19:56, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

iPhone OS[edit]

"iPhone" should be replaced with "iPhone OS", because the games mentioned for that platform are also playable on the iPod Touch. Brianreading (talk) 20:48, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DEC[edit]

Some articles such as Chronology of roguelike video games refer to DEC but I'm not sure which DEC computer is meant here. DEC Professional? DECmate? Who can help? The Seventh Taylor (talk) 07:36, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In this case, it might be better to instead refer to the PDP-8 or PDP-11 to avoid the ambiguity, though I'm pretty sure the DEC Professional was what was meant. SharkD  Talk  07:51, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OnLive[edit]

As an example, in the Infobox for the game Borderlands, somebody specified "OnLive" as a platform. Is "OnLive" really a distinct platform? If "yes", should it appear in the Template:Vgclegend list of "Supported platforms"? ProResearcher (talk) 16:47, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tapwave Zodiac[edit]

For the game Doom II: Hell on Earth, its Infobox includes the value "Tapwave Zodiac" in the "Platform(s)" field. Should "Tapwave Zodiac" appear in the Template:Vgclegend list of "Supported platforms"? ProResearcher (talk) 17:36, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Zeebo[edit]

For the game Duke Nukem 3D, its Infobox includes the value "Zeebo" in the "Platform(s)" field. Should "Zeebo" appear in the Template:Vgclegend list of "Supported platforms"? ProResearcher (talk) 17:51, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dismantling this[edit]

This is a hugely overwrought mess of nested tables which can be unwould in its entirety to a simple series of definition lists, with columns added through CSS rather than through fix layers of table arithmetic. A very quick reimplementation is in the sandbox. I'll be looking to get this pushed out fairly quickly, as the current system is an inaccessible and frankly unmaintainable nightmare. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) (talk) 15:01, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

New platforms[edit]

Lots of missing platforms, such as PS5, XBox Series X/S, Stadia, Oculus Rift, etc. Seems like it has not been updated in a while. Kidburla (talk) 22:42, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
