Update needed[edit]

An adjustment of the template is needed. The template now gives the world population as 7.993smth as of today (24 Nov), while the official UN pop number crossed the 8bn boundary 15 Nov. The base number in the current version is based on the 2019 revision of World Population Prospects, while the 2022 revision was recently released. My skills in template editing are not good enough to make the change. Anyone? T*U (talk) 10:46, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
