The Lumistella Company (founded in 2005)[1] is a Christmas focused[2] intellectual property company,[3] headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.[4][5]

The founders of The Elf on the Shelf® brand, Chanda A. Bell[6] and Christa Pitts,[7] along with their mother Carol Aebersold, formed CCA & B, LLC in 2005.[8] Since then, the business has changed its name and is now known as The Lumistella Company.[9][10]

The Lumistella Company was established in 2005 following the release of The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition,[11] The Elf on the Shelf®,[12][13] Elf Pets®, and Elf Mates™ are among the company's Christmas brands.[4][14]Over 28 million Scout Elves, Elf Pets, and Elf mates have been sold worldwide by The Lumistella Company since 2005.[5]

The company collaborates with over 80 partners globally and distributes branded goods in 24 countries across five continents.[5]
