Seeds provided 15% of the revenue and fertilizers another 14%.[4] Geographically, revenues were spread among Latin America (24%), North America (19%), China (20%), the rest of Asia Pacific (12%).[5]

IPO[edit]

Since 2021, there have been reports about an IPO of the company.[6] In 2023, Syngenta Group has filed an application for a proposed initial public offering on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s main board.[7][8] Due to Syngenta's parent company, ChemChina, being under US sanctions, US banks might not be able to participate in this IPO.[9]
