Behzad, the son of Master Hossein Fallahi Seichani (1938-2021)(Master Hossein Fallahi was one of the pioneers of miniature art and together with his son, he was one of the saviors of Iranian miniature art from destruction by introducing Iranian miniatures to the world.)[1][2][3], was born in Isfahan, Iran, in 1974. In his childhood, he learned miniature painting (negargari or Persian miniature Painting) from his father and practiced Tabriz style and Mosaic-work. Since 1995, he has been the manager of his father's miniature workshop, called Fallahi Miniaturist, located near Naghsh-e Jahan Square, in one of the oldest galleries in Isfahan. Starting from 2002, he has participated in exhibitions and workshops in other countries along with his master. In 2004, he established his own workshop in the Posht Matbakh gallery.The name "Fallahi Miniaturist Gallery" has been mentioned in various art books and tourist magazines. Some of the notable publications include different editions of Lonely Planet (isfahan), Bradt, Silk Road, the Spanish guidebook "Rumbo a Iran," the Italian guidebook "Tessori di Persia," the German guidebook "Dumont Reise Handbuch," the French guidebook "Le Petit Futé," and the Hungarian guidebook "Irán - A négy évszak országa." [4][5] Visitors and tourists who have visited the gallery have praised the exhibited artworks and its historical atmosphere.[6][7][8]

In addition to his professional work in miniature art, Behzad has also pursued academic studies in architecture at Isfahan University of Art, where he has completed his master's degree. Besides miniature art, he is actively involved in the field of historical building restoration and conservation.

Behzad Fallahi is an artist who specializes in the fields of Tazhib, Ghalamgiri, mosaic work, miniature design, and Filigree jewelry design. He considers himself a student of renowned masters such as Kamal al-Din Behzad and Hossein Taherzadeh Behzad. He has actively participated in numerous international exhibitions.

In the field of architecture[edit]

In the field of architecture, Behzad Fallahi is actively involved in the preservation and restoration of historical buildings. Alongside his wife, they have saved numerous historical structures from destruction and have made significant efforts to protect these valuable heritage sites. In an interview with ISNA, he emphasized the potential of tourism development and involvement of investors under the supervision of experts to preserve Iran's historical buildings.[10] Some of the works he has undertaken include:
