User:A niche kale geek

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi, I'm A niche kale geek (he/him).

I'm a South African researcher with a bachelor of science degree. I'd really like to fill out topics that are missing or incomplete. I'm also a stickler for good referencing. So if you catch me making an edit without a good source to back it up, please call me out on it! I like Star Trek, role-playing games, and punk music.

I still feel like I'm new to editing Wikipedia, but I'm getting used to how things work and I'm always eager to learn more. I had lots of fun doing The Wikipedia Adventure, and I recommend it to other new editors. I also owe a lot of my knowledge to the other Wikipedians who have encouraged and assisted me. I'd love to pay that back, so if you're new and feeling overwhelmed, drop a question on my Talk page. Maybe I can help you out.

A contribution that I'm especially proud of, is the Actual Play article, which started as a draft article that I wrote. It's grown into something pretty impressive (thanks to many Wikipedians who are not me!) and was even featured on English Wikipedia's Did you know. Even better, the "did you know" fact was ... that actual play shows have helped to improve the representation of women, people of color, and LGBT people in tabletop gaming.
