Open Heart - The Meeting (Russian: Открытое Сердце - Встреча) is a non-fiction story about living in two worlds simultaneously: the physical and the subtle. It's written by authors Andrei Coban and Amy Coban between 2021 and 2024. The first version was published in 2024. It was initially not successfully pledged on the Kickstarter platform, so it was later self-published on the Amazon platform. The genre of the non-fiction novel is not fully defined, as it has autobiographical elements as well as elements of fiction, and contains aspects of comedy, horror, romance, and fantasy.

The story concerns a meeting of Andrei and Amy. It combines supernatural elements with a philosophy, defying categorization within a single genre. At its core, the story is a testament to the transformative power of love and the human soul, as Andrei and Amy embark on a journey of self-discovery, self-determination, healing, and spiritual awakening. Through their experiences, readers are invited to reflect on their own lives and beliefs, and to explore the deeper understanding of existence.

Excerpt from the book

The Senior Mentors have never met for trivial matters, and now they have gathered to make a decision that will determine evolution. There are twelve of them, to be precise. Each of them takes on the responsibility of managing the planet for exactly two hours a day, while the others assist and support the one in charge. The initiator of the meeting was the Hierarch, who is responsible for the activities of the Senior Mentors.

"Brothers," - the voice of the Hierarch sounded subdued and tense, - "we are faced with a task that cannot be solved by any conventional and comprehensible means. Humanity, along with the entire planet, is on the brink of total annihilation. Scientists are analyzing political processes and nuclear stockpiles, anxiously watching the escalating tensions. They have even created the Doomsday Clock, which marks how close the world is to potential catastrophe, and never before has that proximity been so terrifying. According to the Doomsday Clock, "Humanity is only 1 minute and 40 seconds away from becoming utterly destroyed".

But it is not this that worries me, but the fact that they are not aware of the real danger that is looming over them. It's what happens in their souls and hearts. People have forgotten that they are Souls with bodies and minds, forgotten that only by opening their hearts to the Creator, by becoming a part of Him, can they be truly happy on Earth. Disguised in the shadows have managed to convince humanity that the most important thing is the comfortable life of the body, that with the intellect one can calculate any risks and build a well-fed and carefree life.
