Overview of ENGVAR templates[edit]

If an article has strong ties to an English-speaking country and/or the variety of English has been established, the following templates can be used in the article's source:

For the talk pages of such articles, explanatory templates are available: Same as above without the word "use":

If an article uses British/Commonwealth spelling consistently, but has no strong national ties, the following generic spelling Commonwealth spelling tag can be used in the article's source:

  • {{EngvarB}} - generic British/Australian/Commonwealth spelling (en-GB, -ise)
