Adam Vernier


Adam Vernier (born August 27, 1972) is an American television and movie actor, best known for his roles as Vance Vorhees in Bring It On: In It To Win It, Sheriff John Guidry in OWN Network Queen Sugar, and as Jim Tuttle in Robert Kirkman's Outcast, While living in Chicago at 5 years old, Vernier auditioned for and was the second choice for the part of "Danny" in the movie The Shining. Recently he has had parts on Ballers, Bloodline, The Right Stuff and Mr. Mercedes.


Early and personal life Adam Vernier was born in Manassas, Virginia and moved around quite a but as a child. He has loved in New Orleans, St. Louis, Orlando, Naperville. Gulf Breeze, Ormond Beach and Apopka. He graduate from Lafayette High School in Chesterfield, Missouri and Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He is married to Erin Vernier and they have two children.

Career

After growing up doing theatre, Vernier made his first film debut in a commercial for Pizza Hut with Ken Griffey Jr. His first TV show was booked 1 month after moving to Los Angeles when he was one episode 1 season 1 of The Amanda Show. His next role was as an Armored Car Driver in FOX's The X-Files. From that credit, Vernier worked non-stop in Los Angeles from 1999 to 2003 with large and small parts on 24, Dharma & Greg, The Man Show, Becker, Angel. Diagnosis Murder, JAG, Boomtown, Dr. Dolittle 2, Walker Texas Ranger, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Passions, Route 666, LA Confidential as well as over 30 episodes of The Tomight Show performing Varios sketch comedy bits.
