From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The U.S. Forest Service employee in charge of a controlled fire was arrested by the Grant County (Oregon) sheriff in October 2022.[1][2] The U.S. Forest Service employee was the incident commander (burn boss) leading the crew during a controlled burn of a 300-acre tract of woodlands (120 ha) in the Malheur National Forest.[3] The fire burned fences and into an adjacent private cattle ranch.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]
