From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Clean Power Alliance is a government-run energy provider within Los Angeles and Ventura counties in Southern California. The governing bodies of twenty-nine cities as well as the county government for the unincorporated areas of those counties shifted to Community Choice Aggregation as the default choice for the residents and businesses. In these communities, Clean Power Alliance replaced Southern California Edison for more than one million homes and businesses. Edison continues to distribute the power through the electric grid with the existing wires and poles, along with billing each customer.[1]
