Who am I?

AdjustingFramework is my Wikipedia username. Jesse is my "real" name. Flint is a name I've sometimes used in the past.

I have my bachelor's degree in philosophy, but I think I've learned more outside the classroom than in it: living my life, traveling, loving and being loved, wondering what it all means, and pondering the apparent interconnectedness of all things, both on this Earth, and in Universe as a whole. I believe we owe it to ourselves to gather as much information as we can as we go through this life, in the hopes that we might eventually understand our purpose, and that anything that exists is information that can be learned. It's our ability to decide for ourselves what we think and feel about that information that elevates us to the level of consciousness we call "free will".

I believe that there's always more to learn and do, and I try to treat life as a gift, rather than a burden. I do not, and have not, always made the "right" choices, but all the choices I've made in my life have resulted in a new opportunity to learn something new. Understanding this has helped me immensely in times of uncertainty.
