Me, Myself, and I[edit]
Hello, my name is Andrew Downs and I am a freshman at Georgia Southern University. Despite what you may think, my major is not partying...it's nutrition and food science. I was a scholar athlete in high school, playing baseball and achieving a 3.8 GPA. Since I have been in college, I have tried to stay active; playing racquetball, golfing, and lifting weights are just a few of the activities that keep off the freshman fifteen. However, it's not all fun and games in college, I'm still going to school after all! Those 11 a.m. classes can be a struggle to wake up for sometimes, and don't even get me started on the days when I don't get my mid-day nap! Talk about an EXHAUSTING work week! But somehow I manage to live each and every day with a smile on my face.

Why Wikipedia Should Thank Me[edit]
I am still a novice when it comes to Wikipedia writing, but I really enjoy it and would love to continue editing as many pages as I can. I am going to try to keep working to improve my article on the Emerald Triangle, and hope that I don't get yelled at by those writers who scan Wikipedia night and day looking for mistakes to correct.
Addiction to Technology[edit]
Like many young adults my age, I was born with a cell phone in my right hand, and the remote control in my left. I doubt I would be able to function properly without my iphone with me at all times. I Facebook "stalk" constantly, and yes, I just recently broke down and got a Twitter.

Let Me Tell You What I REALLY Think Of Wikipedia[edit]
I have to be honest, before I took a class that utilized Wikipedia, I was under the impression that the people who edited Wikipedia pages obviously had too much time on their hands. But when I was introduced to editing Wikipedia articles, I was hooked. I haven't edited too many things yet, but I can assure you that I will continue to make my opinions heard on Wikipedia for years to come.
Languages[edit]
I took three years of high school Spanish and passed with A's all three years, so naturally I have forgotten every single bit of Spanish that once filled my brain! I speak English, write in English, and read in English.
Fun Facts[edit]
Well congratulations! You made it to the bottom of this article without falling asleep. I guess that means that you are somewhat interested in what I have to say, right? Well in that case, I'm sure you want to know more fun facts about me. I absolutely love watching movies! Some of my favorite movies are all the Indiana Jones movies, Oceans 11, 12, &13, Remember the Titans, and Step Brothers. My favorite television shows are Family Guy, The Office, Burn Notice, and yes, Jersey Shore. My favorite book series is, of course, Harry Potter because they are the only books that keep me awake. ARE YOU STILL READING THIS??? I'm running out of things to say...ummm, my favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves. My favorite college football team is the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
